More About Me…
My first ever big role in a show was when I played Peter Pan in the 8th grade. To get me in the mindset of the character, my parents took me to see my first Broadway show, Finding Neverland. I’ve never seen live theatre performed at that caliber before, and the reaction little Charles had in the audience was a feeling I’ll never forget. Tears streamed down my face as I shot up to give the cast a standing ovation. Since that day I knew I needed to give people that same feeling. I went on doing every middle/high school play possible, then musical theatre school, and now it’s my job! It’s the best job ever.
My favorite musicals of all time have to be Cabaret, Pippin, and Chicago. I love shows that find a perfect balance between song, scene, and dance. Fingers crossed they’ll make a David Bowie musical one day!
My passion for theatre as a career started with my love for dance. Growing up I always envied those who took dance classes, so as soon as I could, I got myself on an NYC-bound train to take weekly classes at BDC. There’s no better feeling than storytelling through song and dance, which is why I’ve found such love for the stage.
